Role purpose
Keep Dawell financially compliant, liquid and audit-ready while funding a tender-driven, working-capital-heavy business.
Lead the finance function – statutory compliance, treasury, costing, receivables and MIS – with strong control over tender financial instruments (EMD, BG, security deposits).
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, GST, TDS, statutory audit and timely filings
- Manage working capital, banking, EMD/Bank-Guarantee lifecycle and margin money
- Own costing, pricing support and gross-margin analysis per deal/division
- Drive receivables collection from government buyers and 30-day government / 10-day GeM term discipline
- Produce monthly MIS, cash-flow forecasts and board financials
- Approve vendor payments with the MD above ₹50,000 (dual approval, POL/22)
- Own GST returns (GSTR-1 by 11th, GSTR-3B), TDS returns and e-invoice / e-way bill compliance
- Post opening stock and month-end inventory valuation with Operations
- Approve final expense claims (POL/05)
System responsibilities (Odoo)
- BG/EMD Ledger Manager – owns EMD, bank-guarantee & security-deposit accounting and margin money
- Accounting: invoicing, GST/TDS, statutory filing, bank reconciliation
- Governs the 30-day government / 10-day GeM payment-term discipline and receivables
