Technical Head – Counterfeit Detection & Forensic Applications — Job Description

Role purpose

Deliver accurate, validated counterfeit-detection and forensic solutions that regulators and labs rely on.

Lead technical and application support for counterfeit-detection / spectroscopy systems (TruScan, Gemini, Raman) – pre-sales, validation, deployment and after-sales.

Key responsibilities

• Own application support, demos and method validation for spectroscopy lines
• Lead installation, library build, calibration and user training
• Provide technical specifications and compliance for tenders
• Resolve escalated technical issues and manage service quality
• Build the technical knowledge base and train field engineers
• Lead institutional deployments (e.g. Maharashtra Health TruScan) as technical project manager
• Own reference libraries and method documentation
• Act as service lead for spectroscopy repairs and AMC

System responsibilities (Odoo)

• Technical & application lead for counterfeit/spectroscopy lines – demos, library build, validation
• Technical delivery of institutional projects (e.g. the TruScan deployment)
• Demo/POC technical ownership; OEM Authorization (read); tender technical content

Key result areas & indicative targets

Targets are indicative and are finalised in the KRA appraisal for each financial year.

Qualifications & experience

• M.Sc / M.Pharm (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Forensic)
• Experience: 8+ years in spectroscopy / analytical application support
